Two Men, One Woman - Trouble!

Dermot Mulroney and River Phoenix star as the two friends who fall for the same girl, Miranda. Joined by Sandra Bullock, the four are young friends who meet whilst looking for a break to a country music career. They overcome many hurdles of new friendship until Miranda finally decides who it is that she has fallen for. It is sometimes hard for the viewers because chemistry abounds between all who participate in the *obvious* love triangle, and sometimes it seems as though Miranda made the wrong choice.

Even for people who *think* they do not enjoy country music, 'The Thing Called Love' is a truly refreshing view at the life, loves and heartbreaks of a group of characters that interact very well together and have much audience appeal. It's a story that is funny, sweet, romantic and sad and contains a touch of bitter sweet realism which is characteristic of the music it features.
