. 10 Things I Hate About You .     Bianca (Larisa Oleynik) - popular and pretty. Then there's her bitter older sister, Kat (Julia Stiles). Together they are teh Stratford sisters who live in an uptight household, ruled by by the notion that until Kat gets a date, Bianca is not allowed to date. Considering Kat's determination to alienate anyone interested in her, Bianca's chances at a 'normal' teen life are slim.
    To cut the story (a modern day version of Shakespeare's 'Taming of the Shrew', actually) of this very cool flick short (and so as not to ruin too much), the triangle goes something like this - Bianca wants the very vain Joey (Andrew Keegan), but the very sweet Cameron (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) wants Bianca. All trying to gain for themselves, a plan is developed to set Kat up with a 'scary' (if the gorgeous Aussie Heath Ledger can be described as such!) male equivilent, Patrick. In the meantime, he 'screws up' and falls for Kat.
    But of course, Kat finds out Patrick's been paid to date her... So, was she in love with him? He with her? Who gets Bianca?? ... With a cast of colourful characters and heaps of very funny and very memorable, romantic moments, it's your loss if you don't go and see this excellent 90s romantic comedy!!
